At the September 2011 meeting of the Croham Road Committee it was agreed to make an important change to the Subscriptions paid by Playing members.

With effect from 1st September 2011, the requirement to pay a separate Playing Subscription for each of the four main field Sports Clubs (Rugby, Cricket, Football and Hockey) will be replaced by a SINGLE Annual Full Playing Subscription.

This represents a substantial saving for those members who either currently play more than one sport, or would like to but, until now, may have been deterred by the high cost.

The decision has been taken for the purpose of encouraging a greater number of members to appreciate the financial benefits of playing throughout the year and, in doing so, enjoying the excellent facilities that exist at Croham Road.

I hope that all members, including those who may currently play for another Club or who perhaps have not turned out for a period, will decide to take advantage of this opportunity at a time when "value for money" is high on the list of priorities for most people. More players mean more teams and, hopefully, higher playing standards.

This new arrangement applies ONLY to Direct Debit payments and will commence on 1st September annually for Rugby, Football and Hockey. Cricket Subscriptions will continue to be due on 1st May annually. The Subscription for any current member of the Cricket Club who wishes to play an additional Sport will be due on 1st September. Rugby, Hockey, Football and Cricket players may spread their subscription over 12 monthly payments, in which event, the direct debit discount is reduced to 15%.

It's a WIN... WIN situation. Please support your Club and help to create and maintain a playing and social environment that is successful, enjoyable and profitable.

Please Note

Membership of any Sports Club requires that the Subscription should be paid on the due date. Where this is not received by 1st November (or 1st July for Cricket) the individual's membership will be suspended and he/she shall cease to participate in any of the rights of membership accruing from that subscription. Any member who has paid only a part of a subscription due from him shall be entitled to such reduced rights as the Committee may determine. It is simply not fair on the members who do pay on time for them to subsidise those who do not. The Direct Debit system is an easy and affordable way to pay a Subscription. Please use it.
