Rugby

Matches take place at the Clubhouse on Saturday afternoons between mid-September and mid-April. Kick-off at 3 p.m. (September, October, March, April), 2.30 p.m. (November, February) or 2.15 p.m. (December, January). On days when England home International matches are taking place, kick-off will be at 11 a.m.

The Old Whitgiftian Rugby Football Club has just been promoted and now plays in Surrey 1 League following a very successful 2006/2007 season. The rugby club is open to both Full and Associate members and Spectators are very welcome. 1st XV League fixtures, results and tables can be found on the RFU website at http://www.rfu.com/fixtures/Default.aspx?Type=Results. Click on London & SE Division and then on the league required.

The main website for information pertaining to the OWRFC is located at http://www.owrfc.co.uk and will contain results, match reports, photographs from fixtures, announcements and contact details for the club's various officers.

Following a successful season also, The 2nd XV (Wanderers) now play in the Surrey Conference League and their results and table can be found at http://www.surreyrugby.com/rugbys.asp?g=3. The Wanderers won their league, which was fantastic following the close result they had last year (2005/2006). Any questions?
